Ocean Pediatric Feeding is an out-of-network provider. Families are responsible for payment at the time of service. A detailed receipt (called a Superbill) will be provided, which families may submit to their insurance company for possible reimbursement. Because every plan is different, it is the family’s responsibility to contact their insurance company to confirm whether feeding therapy services are eligible for reimbursement. To assist with this process, a list of helpful questions to ask your insurance company can be found on the “Do You Take Insurance?” section of each service page. What to Expect: Many families receive 70–80% reimbursement, but this depends on each carrier and individual plan. The cost of an initial feeding evaluation ranges from $450–$500, and weekly feeding therapy sessions are $165–$175. Virtual parent coaching services are not eligible for insurance reimbursement, as they do not involve direct therapy with the child. HSA and FSA cards are accepted. Superbills include all necessary information to support the reimbursement process.
